ACI paperwork shows Tipo 818.630 had had 2 prior Italian owners from new.

The second owner acquired it in 1978 and it remained in Italy until being imported by its only UK owner in March 2017.

The body has reportedly received only one windows out repaint in dark navy blue, there are no signs of corrosion or rust repairs. The panels appear to be original with excellent panel fit and shut-lines etc.

The dashboard and leather seats, door cards and original fitted ribbed rubber matting are all in very good condition.

The headlining is original and only slightly yellowed, but in good condition.

The blue over carpets are removable and the floor pans and insulation pads are dry, solid and all look very original.

The boot area is again very tidy, with a recent boot lid surround seal fitted. It has spare wheel and tyre, jack and tools and original insulation and ribbed rubber matting.

 

The 1298cc V4 engine is numbered 818.303 099867 and was originally rated at 90 BHP. Fuelling of the twin cam single head mill is via twin solex sidedraft carburettors.

The engine runs superbly with reported compression of all 4 cylinders rated at 155-160psi. brake work was carried out in 2015 i.e. new discs, new exhaust in 2016.

The car runs and drives beautifully, everything functions correctly (except the clock). Engine and gearbox are a delight

t. The underside is coated and looks extremely solid, original, and unmolested.

The panels are exceptionally good all round, including door bottoms, sills and all wheel arches.

The most recent works were to recommission the brakes as the previous owner has not used it much recently. Works included: rebuilt both front callipers, discs were all good, unstick servo, replace brake pads all round, replace brake master-cylinder, total cost £640.31 at 95,971 KLM 31.01.2022.

 

A new MOT can be supplied if requested to ensure full road-worthiness and piece of mind.

This is a lovely driving solid classic in great condition throughout.
