We are a small friendly family business specialising in selling quality used American Motorhomes. We have been trading since 1996 and have built up a wealth of experience and contacts within the American Motorhome trade.

Stock is now sourced from existing UK vehicles so there are no concerns now over ever changing legislation regarding The specification of imported motorhomes, i.e. all our vehicles are already DVLA registered, MOT’d and on the road in the UK so therefore not affected by any new legislation being implemented.

It is now very difficult to import and convert a new American motorhome for UK use, therefore, the prices of quality used units are holding firm and now represent fabulous value for money when compared to European units.

We operate now with very low overheads with no frills, therefore keeping our margins tight and giving even greater value for money to our customers, whilst not compromising on quality or service.

Who are we?

Andy Lerry and Teresa Lerry – founders and owners of Freedom Motorhomes Limited, started in the car business in 1981 and progressed to American Motorhomes in 1996. The business has built steadily from then, gaining much experience on the way, including several years of full time living in an American Motorhome, owning and running a touring camp site, and many years of experience gained attending outdoor motorhome shows and events.

Sam Lerry-Johnson – Andy’s son, joined the business in 2008, Sam is a qualified body repairer and paint sprayer, but has many other general skills, all of which are regularly used in his excellent preparation of motorhome stock.

Buying an American Motorhome the Freedom way.

• Our vehicles typically are between £15,000 and £50,000.
• All can be driven on a C1 car driving licence – under 7500 kg GVWR.
• Most will be between 22 ft and 32 ft in length.
• All require only a standard class 4 MOT test (the same as a car).
• All road tax costs are inexpensive.
• Many will have LPG road gas conversions, to LPGA certified standards.
• Most will have a Thatcham category 1 alarm system fitted.
• We can recommend quality insurance options.
• We can arrange bespoke financial packages to ease the purchase.
• We accept debit and credit cards for partial or full payments.
• All motorhomes sold with 12 months MOT.
• All motorhomes have comprehensive pre-delivery inspection.
• All motorhomes are handed over with full demonstrations/explanations.
• All motorhomes have a no quibble / comprehensive 3 month warranty.
